The Custom Manufacturing Portfolio is a record of garments produced at Cotton Basket's Tiruppur unit for private label clients and for our own readymade range. Every piece here is from a real production run. The fabric, stitching and finish you see are exactly what left the factory. Nothing is a mock-up, and nothing is for sale. The designs and prints belong to the clients and ranges they were made for. We reproduce the make, never the artwork.
Cotton Basket is a baby garment manufacturer working in both knit and woven fabrics, for daily and casual wear. We have manufactured garments in Tiruppur since 1999. Recent private label work has centred on premium fabric constructions for brand owners across India and abroad. Export orders ship LCL, sized for brands that are building, not container-filling.
A custom order is built for your brand: your artwork, your label, and a fabric of your choice. New brand owners are welcome from their first production run. Private label orders start from 100 pieces per style. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 421 3585459 to start.
Can I order the garments shown in this portfolio?
No. Every piece here is the record of a completed production run, not a listing. What you can order is the capability behind it: the same construction, stitched to the same standard, carrying your artwork and your label. If a piece matches what you want to build, mention it when you message us and we will quote your version of it.
What is the minimum order for private label baby clothing manufacturing?
Private label orders start from 100 pieces per style. The exact minimum for a garment depends on its construction and fabric. We help you choose a fabric that fits your product and your price point. This is standard practice in custom manufacturing, and it keeps your cost per piece sensible. The full process, from your designs to your first carton, is on our private label page.
Does Cotton Basket manufacture private label baby clothing for new brands?
Yes. New brand owners are welcome from their first production run. We work at quantities suited to a brand that is launching rather than one that already runs containers. You bring your designs, measurements and artwork, and we handle fabric sourcing, sampling and production. The order process is the same whether you are producing your first style or your fiftieth.
What fabric constructions can Cotton Basket produce?
We work across single jersey, interlock, french terry, fleece, muslin, mulmul, crinkle muslin, rib and other knit constructions, in combed, semi-combed and super combed cotton, organic cotton, bamboo blends and pima and supima cotton, across a wide GSM range. The construction is chosen to suit the garment and the brand's price point rather than defaulting to one weight for everything. For bulk volumes we start from yarn rather than sourcing finished fabric, which gives tighter control over the cotton quality and the final hand feel. Fabric is sourced or produced to your specification, and you approve a swatch before bulk production begins.
Can I see a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Every custom order begins with a sample stage. You approve the fabric, the construction and the fit before anything runs in bulk. The sampling process, the number of rounds that are standard in the industry, and what each round checks are covered in our private label guide.
How are export orders handled?
Export orders ship LCL, which means less than container load. This suits brands that need production runs smaller than a full container. Packing and labelling follow the destination market's requirements, and we work with the brand on compliance before production starts.
